The Mission

PGA Tour winner and Knoxville native, Scott Stallings, is teaming up with the Tennessee Golf Foundation to bring free junior golf to the Knoxville area. The mission is simple:

Provide Tennessee’s youth with unrestricted, free access to the game of golf at multiple facilities, 365 days a year.

The Kids Play Free Initiative (KPF) is putting an end to the “I can’t play golf because it’s expensive” excuse.

Junior golfers under the age of 18 will be allowed unlimited, free rounds of golf at Beverly Park Par 3 Golf Course and Concord Park Par 3 Golf Course in Knoxville. The initiative began at Beverly Park in 2015 as the “Kids Play Free Program” and in 2018 was expanded to West Knoxville and Concord Park Par 3. Since its expansion in 2018, more than 3,000 kids have played over 28,000 free rounds at the host facilities.

In 2021, the program expanded to Bloomfield Links in Murfreesboro, TN and in 2022 it launched at The Patch in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Vision

The KPF understands the importance of golf course accessibility for today’s youth. Without it, golf’s growth potential from generation to generation is severely hindered. The KPF’s vision, similar to the mission, is powerfully simple:

Promote growth in golf and its life principles by providing youth unlimited, free access to multiple facilities in Tennessee.

The KPF has been established to create an avenue that allows Knoxville’s youth to enjoy the game regardless of their socioeconomic background.
